It's Almost Time: Real Shoes
After an entire season spent wearing boots (either snow or stylish), this is the moment when I start thinking about real shoes—any kind of cute flats, little heels, or full-blown pumps. 
Spring is also traditionally my most experimental season fashionwise—after months spent under layers, I'm truly ready to break out and try new things. Right now I'm obsessed with any kind of loaferish, pilgrimish shoes, like these vintage pairs from Ferragamo. I like them in black, white, and navy. I know they're a little bit odd. But I'm imagining them with crisp jeans and a girly tie-neck top. Or a really severe-looking, almost institutional dress with a khaki coat.
