On the Hunt for ... Summery YSL
Let's face it, summer fashion can be a little blah, glamourwise. 
There are fewer clothes, obviously, which means less to accessorize, and the number one goal is often to avoid feeling like a sweat bomb, not to look fabulous (a fashion editor I know once called summer "amateur hour," but I wouldn't go that far—I actually enjoy the liberation). 
Still, even though I mostly live in gauzy sundresses and shorts in the warmer months, it's always nice to bust out an item that's exceptionally chic and cool. Today on eBay I searched for YSL clothes, specifically ones I could wear now through September. Oh my God, the things I found! I may be in love with this amazing side-button white dress, the print on this secretary style is so good I kind of want to die, and how ridiculously cute would you feel in this little V-neck top and sailor skirt? And ... this is going to seem weird, but I saw two '80s glam YSL bathing suits (this and this) that make me want to cede all my hygienic fears and wear them now.
The tags on at least one of those bathing suits says that it has never been worn. I agree that its still slightly creepy, but for that first suit you linked...I would cede my hygienic fears too!

hmmm bathing suits from the 80's though? I suggest putting a lot of bleach in your washing water or using clorox color before attempting to wear those.
Def hygienic concern
All I want for the summer is a uniform. One that allows me to be cool, but still able to jump around. One that involves skirts, secure accessories, nothing see-through and mature but still young.
I love some of these things you posted, and it harkens me back to the days when spit up and parks were not central to my life. I need a skirt, shirt, shoe and bag combo that lets me (literally) run around the world (and looks good with a stroller). Here is a request: A cool mother uniform that involves style and durability. One that I can have six of, in different colors and prints, and it's refreshing every time. This is my request for a post.
As for the bathing suits, ANYTHING but what's available in stores is good. I kind of like the all black one, but would never have the nerve.
