Great Hair, No Effort

Klorane_2Walking through the office the other day I overheard our associate fashion editor, Ann Brady, deep in conversation with one of our stylists, Tiffany Pasqualone. I passed by just as Ann said, "You really have to try it, it's so amazing," and naturally, I had to know what they were talking about. So Ann tipped us both off to a certain dry shampoo from the French beauty brand Klorane. On days when she doesn't wash her hair, Ann sprays on some of the product and rubs it into her scalp. "It absorbs oil, and lifts my roots to give me great volume and texture," she said. "And it's translucent, so you never have to worry about leaving marks on your pillowcase or under your fingernails, the way that pigmented powder versions do."  Seeing her hair was all I needed to convince me—although she claimed she hadn't washed it in 2 days, it looked as full and shiny as could be.

I have curly hair, on the rare occasion that I take the time to blow it straight, I like to try to keep it that way for as long as possible. Thanks for the dry shampoo tip - it might just buy me an extra day or two!

Just what I've been looking for! I have thick dark hair and dry shampoos often leave traces of white residue and my hair limp. I especially like that this product is aerosol, so much easier to apply evenly and without a mess. Great tip

As someone who only likes to shower every other day because my skin gets so dry...I LOVE this.

I've heard great stuff about Algerin (sp?) too - have you guys tried it?

This is just what I've been looking for. I have light hair and have been using baby powder to absorb oil / create texture, but it can be messy. I will definitely give this a try! Thanks.

ooh...nice tip! thanks! i've been looking for something like this!

This may be an answer to so many of my clients' prayers. I do custom hair extensions in NYC and I prefer them to be washed at least 3 times per week. Some clients want to wait longer even if they work out! I want the hair I do to always look gorgeous so maybe I'll have to send them home with a bottle of this stuff! Thank you.
