3 Girls, 3 Dresses
Staff editor Jennifer Romolini has been getting a head start on her summer shopping, and amidst scoring one of many amazing vintage dresses on eBay after another (the girl has a knack: give her $50 and you'd be floored by what she can sniff out and win via online auction), I challenged her to find a great summer dress for the rest of us. This jumper from Built by Wendy was her pick: "It's simple, easy to wear, dresses up or down, and I love its bold but pretty color."
I then put fashion market editor Meg Cuna to the challenge, and she chose a navy and white polka-dot version from Marc by Marc Jacobs.
Very demure, though it still has a bit of a 1950s-ish pinup-girl vibe to it.
And here's my version of summer perfection: a crisp, all-white A.P.C. sundress, which to me feels very classic and French girl, and has pockets—which as you may know I'm always a sucker for.
