All Good
Fashion news associate editor Lauren DeCarlo recently discovered the bag line Helena de Natalio, which was started by designer Helen Hoppock, in large part to support local artisans in Buenos Aires, where she's based. The goods, like this roomy cocoa-colored tote, have a rough-hewn, handcrafted appeal, with details—like tassels, braided handles, and marbly leather—that can look really cheesy (and cost twice as much) when they're mass-produced. But this is the real deal, and with proceeds going to a great cause, we have all the reasons we need to indulge.

I know this isn't relevant, but when are you all going to update the advice section? You've had the same q&a up for a long time now...

oh yes, the design in buenos aires is almost impossible to beat, especially when it comes to leather handbags. (i'm an american living here)
thanks for the tip - pity that there isn't a local shop down here! (though...there is enough incredible shopping to make up for it, :)
