Aloha Fashion
Though its location might be a little misleading, Honolulu-based Aloha Rag is one of the best sources—on or off the mainland—for edgy, fashiony clothing and accessories. And happily for those of us who don't have a Hawaiian vacation planned, it also has an impossibly great website, where I have most recently fallen in love with this Martin Margiela silver pouch. It comes in futuristic polyester-coated leather that's been distressed to look like aluminum foil, and has a grannyish, old-fashioned metal clasp (which is cocked to one side to give it a playful, modern jolt). And beyond using it as a coin purse, it's large enough to work as a makeup bag or miniature evening clutch too.
