Time Check
I'm not sure I quite understand these Nooka watches that fashion news contributor Erin Wylie showed me the other day, but I'm totally intrigued: Instead of standard hands or an LCD display, these have an illuminating bar and a series of dots that signify the minutes and hours—it's a little Da Vinci Code, but the space-age aesthetic and primary colored rubber make them cool in a street-y, Japanese hipster kind of way. Or more accurately, cool in a just-trust-Erin (who seems to have an internal antenna for what's cool before the rest of us catch wind) kind of way.
