I spend a lot of time looking at new electronics, and this is hands-down the coolest, best-looking speaker I've ever seen—its sleek organic shape and smooth black finish give it a very pretty, beach-pebble quality. It's designed to be used with a computer or iPod (it comes with a special stand so you can plug your Nano directly into the unit) and lasts for 12 hours with a few AAA batteries. Conveniently, it's also got a self-shut-off function so it switches off automatically whenever it's not in use.
