Gold Rush
The other day editor-at-large Gigi Guerra was sporting the most incredible bracelet, comprised of fine gold mesh and a teensy buckle. Disappointingly for her envious coworkers, she found it at a flea market, but Gigi ended up scouring the Web for a near-identical version. This one from Day-Lab is made of delicately wrought brass, which gets even cooler as it weathers, and is actually dead-stock vintage. They've got a limited supply, and at $7, it's astoundingly well priced, so place an order fast.

I love this bracelt but I can't figure out how to get to it to purchase it, HELP!!
Unfortunately, this bracelet is sold out!
Oh, this brings back memories! When I was in junior high in the 60s I owned a ring just like this. I don't remember what it was made of, but it was probably the same vintage and material as this bracelet. The ring was totally adjustable, because, like the bracelet, it was a tiny functional belt.
I actually found an item that is very similar to the one here - it comes in both a silver and gold mesh belt bracelet. It's more expensive, but not crazy expensive. It's available here: http://www.jewelsofdenial.com/p-49-woven-belt-with-jeweled-accents-in-gold.aspx
Happy shopping!
