My friend Susan, who has very discriminating—and generally pretty fancy—taste, had on the chicest Mary Janes the other day. In cream-colored leather with a wide black elastic strap, they might be the most sophisticated take on this style I'd ever seen. The graphic palette and minimalist aesthetic are so cool and artsy, yet totally wearable, and Susan swears that with their cushioned rubber soles and ultra-soft leather uppers, they're also the most comfortable pair of shoes she's ever owned. I braced myself for her to tell me they were by some expensive big-name label, but as it turns out they're made by Camper, and happily, clock in at a relatively reasonable $140.

Hi guys
I think those shoes are great but I also wanted to share some similar shoes from Target. They also have them in cream linen. The "leather" is actually pretty nice for the price. Here is the link:

Boy, those Target ballet flats look nearly identical to the Campers. Now they just need to come out with more colors :-)
For fans of Gentle Souls by Kenneth Cole , there's a similar shoe in black leather & black patent except it's $100 more.

DKNY has several styles very much like this---
'Myrtle' is the most like it, but I find it a bit more elegant, as the elastic is wider and gently folds (hard to describe- look at the shoe on DKNY site or Zappos)
'Haneda' has two wide elastic bands (neither fold) and this comes across as a supersleek yoga shoe
The price for these is comparable with Camper, so you might look before you buy

No, thank YOU for posting the Camper Mary Janes. I'm a fan of Belle by Sigerson Morrison & French Sole when it comes to design but they're not my go to shoes when pounding the pavement. These are INSANELY comfortable but doesn't scream comfort shoe style. Worth every penny.
