Charming, quintessentially feminine staples are the specialty at this cozy Boston shop.

It is owner Jessika Pavlic's knack for finding timeless, ladylike pieces—in addition to an unfailingly friendly staff—that has garnered this five-year-old boutique such a strong following among the residents of its tree-lined Beacon Hill neighborhood. "I really wanted the store to look inviting," says the former stylist. "The name came from the idea that every day could be inspiring and celebratory." The space itself seems to overflow with lovely wares: Gorgeous cocktail dresses hang in old armoires, frilly underpinnings peek out of drawers, and sparkling jewelry spills from teacups. While brightly colored tops by Adam Lippes and Paul & Joe are always in demand, the store recently launched a new line of reinvented vintage clothing in addition to its popular eponymous collection of sleek basics designed by Pavlic and her sister. 53 Charles St., 617-973-9730, holidayboutique.net
