Le Train Bleu

Parisian-inspired chic in the heart of Portland, Oregon.

Le Train Bleu

Bria Phillips launched Le Train Bleu as a multifaceted shopping website in 2003, showcasing fashion photography at first, then designer interviews and styling tips, in addition to stock from an impressive roster of labels. In reverse order from the typical boutique-that-spawns-a-website progression, Phillips then launched a bricks-and-mortar store in 2006, hiring talented design student Megan Hart (above), who eventually became the store's manager. The flagship has a gorgeous, old-world feel, with a worn apothecary counter and vintage-inspired furniture, and the clothes are equally elegant and special, ranging from Eskell high-waist pants to printed Karen Walker tops and trim Nicholas K jackets. 748 NW 11th Ave., 503-222-2598, letrainbleu.com
