This intimate space in Manhattan's West Village offers modern twists on a classically feminine aesthetic.

Nadine Ferber's cozy boutique, tucked away on a tree-lined street, feels like a Parisian apartment, with its large casement windows, fleur-de-lis wallpaper, and inventive touches like men's suit fabric used a dressing room curtain. Named for her always-polished grandfather, the space is filled with romantic, of-the-moment pieces—from ladylike dresses by Vena Cava to brilliant silk tops from Alexander Wang. "I buy collections that are harder to find, which makes them feel rather special," says Ferber; so expect a great range of fashion-insider favorites, including Rachel Comey boots and Isabel Marant's Etoile collection. 19 Commerce St., 212-463-0515, mickmargo.com
