Nudie House

This cult denim labe from Gothenburg, Sweden, pioneered the skinny jean as we know it. All of their styles are unisex—but made to fit and flatter both sexes equally—so you’re bound to find one pair you love no matter your style. Best, of all their commitment to ecologically responsible production practices and using organic cotton make this brand a guilt-free indulgence.

Paige Denim

Page Denim is the brainchild of former denim fit model turned designer Paige Adams-Geller who, six years ago, made it her mission to make jeans that would fit and flatter women of all shapes and sizes. With so many flattering styles to choose from (Paige’s petite section is particularly well-stocked), we can happily say: Mission accomplished.

This sleek NYC boutique is known for its avant-garde, hipster-chic aesthetic, which includes a selection of tightly-edited labels as well as the in-house Oak brand. True to form, their denim department offers cool styles for the daring (Oak dropped crotch skinny jeans) and the more conservative (Surface 2 Air flares).

What Goes Around Comes Around

Boasting possibly the largest (and highest quality) selection of vintage jeans in the country, ranging from rare 1950s denim to '90s era Levi’s, What Goes Around Comes Around is a vintage lover's dream. Though prices aren't cheap, the helpful staff, friendly atmosphere and the idea that you're walking out with a one-of-a-kind pair totally makes it worth it.

Madewell’s preppy-cool aesthetic has practically overtaken the entire fashion industry. And their denim line—full of worn-in styles as well as classic skinnies and flares—is irresistible.

Imogene + Willie

Specializing in raw and selvedge denim, Imogene + Willie is the brainchild of husband and wife team Matt & Carrie Eddmenson. And thanks to their dedication to authenticity (they still make most of their jeans in the small workshop behind their store) and approachable vibe, they’ve already garnered a cult following in Nashville and beyond, even doing a limited edition collaboration with J. Crew.

We've been loving Gap's jeans for ages, but their 1969 line just gets better and better. The flattering, on-trend styles won't break the bank.

Denim Bar

Housing both mainstream labels like Citizens of Humanity and hard-to-find, niche brands like Kasil and Ksubi, this boutique has become the destination for quality, designer denim.

Blues Jean Bar

With more than 40 lines to choose from—and staff that know the ins and outs of every denim dilemma you can imagine—this nationwide chain serves up an awesome dose of “jeans on tap.”

Barneys New York

Like most things, Barneys has a great selection of contemporary designer denim—and their knack for picking niche labels like Mother and Nili Lotan make the department store a go-to spot.

When it comes to denim, you really can't get more classic than Levi’s. With the new CurveID line—featuring customized fits to flatter every shape—this classic brand is also earning its label as a pioneer in the industry.
