The Big Island

Cinderella's Antiques

Nestled high above Kailua-Kona on lush, coffee-producing slopes, this tiny shop sells an array of jewelry and housewares from the late 1800s through the '60s. The prices are equally impressive: A delicate cameo necklace from 1910 is $75; Victorian-era onyx mourning jewelry starts at $50.

Eden

A year ago, Kathy Peters and Lisa Fowler took a break from their stressful careers as a psychologist and an executive to open this cheery boutique. The merchandise is feminine without veering into nauseatingly cute territory. Expect cherry-print undies by Loveletters and Lilly Pulitzer dresses.

Products: Lingerie/Loungewear, Women's Clothes

Hula Lamps of Hawaii

In Hawaii, you'll notice restaurants decorated with hula-girl lamps whose hips actually sway. This shop is the place to buy the most authentic of these lamps. Though the bronze creations don't come cheap (they start at around $240), they're the ultimate souvenir.

It's All Good

This overstuffed boutique does more than just capitalize on one of the most oft-uttered sayings of our generation—it actually fulfills it. Among the offerings: a truly excellent mix of sexy bikinis from Brazil, lacy Claire Pettibone lingerie, and an eclectic mix of rhinestone cocktail rings.

Without Boundaries

Odds are you've never seen a housewares shop that also doubles as an international travel agency. But now it's weirdly possible to buy a Vietnamese hammock while simultaneously booking a ticket to Saigon. Proprietor Peter Pomeranze, who travels frequently to places like Australia and New Zealand, always has something new and interesting on hand from his visits. His latest discovery is an exceptionally silky, Auckland-made Echo body lotion.
