This five-floor Mayfair townhouse was conceived by Comme des Garçons Rei Kawakubo as a platform to showcase her work alongside that of other risk-taking designers. It's one of the weirdest, coolest stores we've ever been to and has the feel of an established retailer and hipster clubhouse rolled into one. As you go from one floor to the next, you'll come across intentionally raw plywood-and-corrugated-metal fixtures, entertaining art installations, April77 jeans, Pierre Hardy bags, and an eccentrically dressed sales staff (it's the best people-watching in the city).
