A STYLISH HOME DESIGNER'S BARGAIN SOURCES

On her blog, vickysyardsale.com, former interior designer and perennial bargain hunter Vicky Molinelli presents glamorous yet giddily affordable home furnishings—from art deco-inspired chairs to vintage hand-embroidered suzanis. Here, she reveals her secret sources.

Where do you trawl for your goods?

"I like to start at charity thrift stores, such as the Salvation Army in Pasadena, but my favorite is the Jewish Council Thrift Store. In addition to great furnishings, I have found some amazing leopard coats and a wonderful early '90s Escada jacket."
