Where do you trawl for your goods?
"I like to start at charity thrift stores, such as the Salvation Army in Pasadena, but my favorite is the Jewish Council Thrift Store. It's amazing, with several locations around the city; and a couple of times a year it stages a 'best of the best' blowout sale rife with plum picks. In addition to great furnishings, I have found some amazing leopard coats and a wonderful early '90s Escada jacket."
Where do you trawl for your goods?
"If I'm looking for something specific, I hit up Staci at 45 Three Vintage Modern Home. She's got a great eye and lots of stuff, ranging from mid-century chairs to adorable needlepoint pillows."
What's your favorite L.A. flea market?
"I learn about great estate sales at estatesalesla.com/calendar. A treasure-filled website is Maison 21 Marketplace. And I always check out what's on the auction block at Orrill's Auction Studio."
What's your favorite L.A. flea market?
"I love the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. The market is divided into three sections: new, vintage/antique furniture and accessories, and vintage clothing. Equipped with my trolley, I walk around looking for anything delicious that catches my eye. I love mixing and matching silverware or looking for objects that can serve a different purpose. For example, a silver punch bowl set that's not complete can still make an interesting centerpiece filled with beautiful peonies."
