Where do you trawl for your goods?

"I like to start at charity thrift stores, such as the Salvation Army in Pasadena, but my favorite is the Jewish Council Thrift Store. It's amazing, with several locations around the city; and a couple of times a year it stages a 'best of the best' blowout sale rife with plum picks. In addition to great furnishings, I have found some amazing leopard coats and a wonderful early '90s Escada jacket."
