liza rietz and a broken spoke

An unlikely venture from two beloved local designers, this tiny storefront is at once boutique, showroom, and bespoke tailor. Though the stock is inherently disparate (Liza Rietz makes womenswear, while partner John Blasioli produces men's clothing), the two both offer impeccably crafted styles, rotating in a small range of fresh options each week. Every piece is made to measure, the service is truly custom—if you’d prefer a different fabric or color, it’s no problem—and the prices (around $200 for a dress) are incredibly low for goods this lovingly handmade.
