Royal Male

While Newport is a sailing town, it's also a horse town. And the place to go for riding boots, tailored blazers, and wax jackets is Royal Male. There's a second location on the wharf with more yacht-centric gear (think crest-bedecked polos), but we prefer the dimly lit, Spring Street branch, which lives in an appropriately garret-like, 18th-century building.
