The Lucky Store Directory
Atlanta
Beehive Co-op
Forty-eight designers are showcased here, and each one gets a partitioned space—which gives the loft-like shop the feel of an indoor market. The selection ranges from streamlined furniture and retro-designed pillows to table runners, stitched bags, and brightly printed sundresses.

The Blue Corset Co.
A graphic black-and-white palette, art deco–wallpapered fitting rooms, and baroque chairs lend the mood of a dark, hidden boudoir to this boutique. The emphasis is on high-end lingerie from designers like Marlies Dekkers and Leigh Bantivoglio, all arranged in an agreeably spare fashion.

The Clothing Warehouse
Occupying a bright red building smack in the middle of the rough-and-tumble Little Five Points area (home to tattoo parlors and innumerable bars), this easy-to-shop, organized-by-color vintage depot devotes entire walls to specific cuts of collectible Levi's and pleasingly beat-up cowboy boots.
420 Moreland Ave. NE, 404-524-5070
Deka
Even though it's officially about workout wear, this octagon-shaped store, owned by Jim Whitlow, a 15-year veteran of Jeffrey Atlanta (he was actually Jeffrey Kalinsky's first hire, in 1990), stocks pieces that almost work better outside of the gym. Adidas by Stella McCartney track jackets, Rudolf Dassler for Puma polos, and well-cut black pants from Y-3 are bestsellers.
375 Pharr Rd. NE, Ste. 59, 404-869-9600

Dora Rae
Tucked away in an alpine-lodge-themed strip mall, this spot has studded hobos by Rebecca Minkoff, chain necklaces by Dannijo, and a trove of evening bags.

Dress Codes
The racks and benches in this pod-like boutique almost seem as if they've been carved out of one piece of molded white plastic. This streamlined, only-the-essentials aesthetic extends to the straightforward merchandise, which includes Earnest Sewn and Deener denim in the darkest washes, and simply cut, extra-soft T-shirts from Woo. There are also journals and photo albums from Seoul (the duo behind the shop taught school there before landing in Atlanta) with trippy cartoon covers.

Every inch here has been carefully considered, from the high-wattage silver wallpaper to the rococo armchairs built into the walls that double as shelves. The owners pay equally close attention to the shop's gamine-inspired goods, from designers like Shipley & Halmos, Alexander Wang, and Vena Cava.

There's definitely a little bit of everything at this general-store-like space, all displayed on antique library-card cases and wrought-iron pot racks. Retro dresses by Dear Creatures, Twig cashmere sweaters, and Sunshine & Shadow scarves are among the mix.
245 Highland Ave. NE, Ste. 120, 404-681-4696

Jeffrey Atlanta
Lush lines like Dries Van Noten occupy one half of the store, while a peerless shoe department commandeers the rest. Jeffrey wields enough power to score exclusive designs, including Manolo Blahniks in shades not available anywhere else.
3500 Peachtree Rd. NE, Ste. A3, 404-237-9000
K-la
São Paulo–born sisters Keila and Juliana Mesquita stocked K-la with Havaianas flip-flops before they hit the mainstream, and they've been just as prescient with other Brazilian designers, introducing sexy lines like Zoomp, M B Extra, and Iodice to the States. The sisters have also launched their own line of strappy stilettos and affordable separates, all inspired by Brazil.
