Wonders on Woodland

Shopping this rambling East Nashville Victorian-turned–antiques shop is like exploring Grandma’s frozen-in-time house—if Grandma had saved all the right retro things (’70s ceramic lamps, ’50s board games, ’60s wrought-iron patio chairs).

La Negra Tomasa

At night, I’ll head to La Negra Tomasa because there’s live Cuban music. I love to salsa—this is the perfect spot to drink a mojito and dance. 9 Calle de Cádiz, +34-915-23-58-30

Zara

I shop at Zara a lot. I like a little bit of everything, and they have a great selection. See zara.com for locations.

Do Design

I always go to Concept Store Do Design because you can find so many different kinds of jewelry, clothes and furniture. Plus you can have a cup of coffee while you’re there. 13 Calle Fernando VI, +34-913-10-62-17

Olivia Te Cuida

My favorite restaurant is Olivia Te Cuida, which means “Olivia takes care of you.” I eat almost all my meals there. It’s really tiny and cozy, and you toast your own bread for breakfast. It’s like being at home, but with strangers. 8 Calle Santa Teresa, +34-917-02-00-66

Temple Of Debod

Close to the Royal Palace is the Temple of Debod. It’s an ancient Egyptian temple right in the middle of the city. You can watch the sunset from there—all the views are amazing. 1 Calle Ferraz, +34-913-66-74-15
