Dobry Den
Recently opened on the main drag in eclectic Surry Hills, Dobry Den takes its fashion cues from '80s-era campiness. Glazed panther statues wear bold jewelry, like boom-box-shaped necklaces, while androidesque mannequins—which look as if they're straight from the set of Dune—are draped in bright clothing from local designers.

Pigeon Ground
A group of artistic friends pooled their creative energies to launch this vintage clothing, vinyl, and ephemera spot, and four years in it's a neighborhood hit. Among our discoveries: an album of Outback cowboy songs, copies of retro pop-culture zines, and slouchy tees printed with cartoonish horse heads.
