Synthetic leather heels, $546, Beyond Skin, suigeneriscollection.co.uk
1
Beyond Skin
This East London–based company has gone to great lengths to ensure that its glittery T-straps and candy-colored heels are made in an ethically responsible way. These are the perfect party shoes—with a bonus: Beyond Skin uses satin that's spun from polyester (not viscose, which has a greater impact on the environment), along with biodegradable synthetic (but still really rich-looking) leathers.

Cri de Coeur
A Lucky favorite, this line is the brainchild of designer Gina Ferraraccio, who has come up with an entirely vegan collection of pretty heels and strappy gladiator sandals. It's rare to find leather-free shoes that come off as so upscale—but she totally nails it.

Charmoné
The message of this New York–based brand is clear: Sexy, teetering heels can be animal- and eco-friendly. Instead of leather, these shoes are created with microfiber, which is gentler on the environment. But we're in love with the details, like sleek laser cutouts on the super-pretty peep-toes.
