There are “It” girls—the ones whose styles are so distinctive and effortless, they’re both inspiring and envy-inducing. Then there are “It” bags, which are so crazy-covetable they creep into your subconscious, popping up in dreams and forcing you to seriously contemplate increasing your credit card debt…yet again.

And then, there’s that subliminal stars-in-alignment thing that occurs when a whole parade of “It” girls start sporting the latest “It” bags, and one giant big bang of an “It” phenomenon launches into super orbit.

That’s kind of what’s been happening lately between our favorite style-stalking subjects and London-based design house Mulberry. Cool girls ranging from Kate Middleton to Blake Lively can’t get enough of the label’s sumptuous leather satchels. It’s an age-old love story, in that cool-girl-falls-for-Brit-chic kind of way.
