As Lucky assistants, we see it all. We're combing through photo archives and testing new lipsticks. We're shipping trunks to photo shoots and managing our editors' calendars, coffee orders and sample call-ins. And at Lucky, online shopping at the office is not only encouraged, it's practically required. Needless to say, we're never at a loss for inspiration. Here's what the assistants are dying over this week.
Noelle Sciacca - fashion market assistant, Sajel K. Shah - beauty assistant
The two of us take our manicures very seriously. If our nails are bare, we feel like we might as well have left the house only wearing one shoe. Between work emails, we peek at nail blogs searching for new DIY techniques, all in the pursuit of fabulously decorated fingers. When we heard about Sally Hansen’s real nail polish strips we were intrigued but skeptical. They stick directly onto the nail and with only a slight smell and no liquid mess—we’ve even gotten away with using them at our desks. We’re wearing Wild Child and Glitz Blitz...what do you think?

I’m settling into a new apartment and telling everyone about the amazingness that is the Target.com furniture sale. A matching pair of these moody, grey velvet chairs turned my odd-ball collection of flea market furnishings into a grown-up living space that I want to show off. Plus they’re on sale AND there’s free shipping on orders over $150. Obsessed.
Bobby Schuessler, special sections assistant
Call me what you like....bracelet obsessed, bracelet king, crazy man with too many wrist accessories...I’m obsessed with any and all bracelets. Whenever I spot a new one in the Lucky office, I have to try it on (Chan Luu, Soho Hearts, Yara...). Sometimes, I even dream about adding the ever chic David Yurman masterpieces to my already over-accessorized arm.
Mayme Stansfield, fashion closet assistant
Fashion’s Night Out is fast approaching and I am obsessed with with this year’s shirt! Love the tribal print...very Proenza Schouler. Be sure to pick up yours on Sept. 8!

I’ve got an Etsy crush. A serious crush. From pretty handmade jewelry to the insanely well-curated vintage shops, the site has become my go to for everything from pillow cases to vintage Pendleton jackets (I recently spent some time at Etsy HQ in Brooklyn and have to say, its the happiest place on earth). Here are three shops that I can’t get enough of: Fabulous Mess A mecca for '60s style décor, I am now convinced that a home is not a home without a mid-century brass giraffe. Persephone Vintage This vintage shop has a crazy good selection with wallet friendly prices. I can’t help lusting after the killer '70s vintage vest coat and selection of sequin tops. BROOKLYNrehab BROOKLYNrehab’s eclectic mix of found objects, housewares and handmade jewelry is proving problematic for my bank account. I’m planning to scoop up the faceted necklace in silver and bronze.
