Amy Kirkpatrick is into Crap…the sunglasses brand, that is. “I’m just not a morning person, and they make my life easier,” says the female half of Canadian-based electro-duo Data Romance. Kirkpatrick’s style is more laidback and feminine than her group’s pulsating brand of eerie electronica would have you believe. Ethereal and softly pretty, the 25-year-old favors flowy summer dresses, slouchy carry-alls and anything coconut-scented over the hardcore garb typical of moody songstresses.

We caught up with Kirkpatrick—whose steadily ghostly voice gives us the chills—to find out how she stays sweet smelling and pretty while on tour with a bus full of boys.
