As Lucky assistants, we see it all. This week we're coveting the spring line of a young designer (she's our age!), swaping our sandals out for boots and shamelessly shopping the kids' side of the store.
I stumbled upon this gem when I was researching a children’s blog post. This has to be the coolest bowtie ever! I’m really tempted to add it to my crazy accessories collection.
I’m obsessed with motorcycle inspired boots...especially this pair from Barneys with multiple buckles and wrap around straps!
When I’m not busy at Lucky I also perform as a singer/songwriter. On stage, I love pairing these boots with something like an innocent lace dress because it gives me an edgier look.
Although I’m not a fan of chilly weather, I do get excited about my footwear in the fall and winter months. I just ordered these boots from American Eagle and cant wait to pair them with girly dresses and tights all winter long.
While everyone else in the city seems to be praising the return of fall (lame), I am mourning the end of my favorite season. At least it can still sound like summer on my iPod with Girls' new song “Honey Bunny." The whole album is on repeat in my apartment, but that song is particularly theraputic for me with the changing seasons.
I’m obsessed with Katie Ermilio's line! Hers was my favorite showing this NYFW, hands down. The designer has perfected the art of adding modern details to classically feminine silhouettes–and she’s only 25! I’m DYING over this peplum blouse on the model in the middle and am already convinced that my spring wardrobe needs to be filled with shades of mint and melon.
My wardrobe got a little boost this fashion week thanks to Rent the Runway. A color-blocked Missoni shift and a pretty pleated Proenza number found a temporary home in my closet for the last week (and I fell totally in love with both dresses). I am already scoping out my calendar and planning the next time I can rent one of these fabulous frocks.
It’s time for me to retire my boat shoes and get ready for fall. This season it’s all about bright socks for me! These Paul Smith ones will look great with loafers and boots and will definitely make my feet feel alive as I dance through the fashion closet!
Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, my favorite LA coffee spot, has finally made its way across the country and opened in NYC! Try their signature drink, the ice blended mocha. Such a treat when I'm feeling a little homesick.
