Summer Music Style Special: Madeline Follin of Cults

The Cults' pretty songstress has a cute girl style that sweetens any venue.

Madeline Follin is the prettier half of Cults, a bewitching, ’60s-infused girl/boy duo that arose seemingly out of nowhere (but actually out of Brooklyn) on the strength of “Go Outside,” a sunny track that went viral. But the dreamily-voiced, pretty dress-loving songstress—who went from being an unknown just a year ago to a girl with a major label deal and international tour dates who gets to wear Burberry and Valentino in T Magazine—isn’t totally living the high life. Not yet, anyway. She still has to deal with days where it’s impossible to wash her hair and “sticky, sweaty venues.”

So how does she stay chic (not to mention clean) on tour? We caught up with Follin to find out how she keeps her cute girl thing going while making her way from city to city in a gritty bus. Click through to view her top 10 on-the-road essentials, and to get more tips on how to travel in style.
