D.C.'s Most Stylish Bloggers
With the inauguration coming up this weekend, Washington, D.C. is about to get a healthy dose of style. Rightly so—because when the entire world turns its eye on our nation's capital, they had better be impressed. In honor of the inauguration, we've rounded up 10 of our favorite style bloggers straight out of D.C. We are certain that come Sunday and Monday, they'll be showing their pride in the form of some kickass outfits.
District of Chic
We've loved E from District of Chic for a long time. She always brings the style game with her classic look and nearly-perfect hair.
Because I Am Fabulous
With a blog name like Because I Am Fabulous, you've got a lot to live up to. Trust us when we say: mission accomplished.
Classy and Fabulous
Sure, this list is all about D.C., but we're fairly certain Elena from Classy and Fabulous is one of the most stylish bloggers in the entire country.
Aureta's Blog
Although she travels and posts from all over the world, Aureta calls D.C. home. Rest assured: no matter where she goes, she brings her unique perspective and impeccable taste along with her.
A Loyal Love
She snowboards, she blogs and she does it all in really killer outfits. Props to you, Tammy. Keep on living the dream.
My Closet in Sketches
So you're probably thinking, "Hey, this is a drawing." And we get you—but it's an amazing illustration and we know for a fact that Lauren Friedman, the artist behind it, is a phenomenal dresser. You may recognize her work from the pages of Lucky!
La Petite Marmoset
Katherine Martinez is the mind behind La Petite Marmoset and the woman in front of the camera. If we had to describe her style in three words we'd say, "Gimme that top," because she's just that good.
Style Within Reach
Have you ever walked into a Design Within Reach furniture shop only to ask yourself, "What is so in reach about this?" after experiencing sticker shock? Well, it's the exact opposite with Caitlin's blog, Style Within Reach. We love and admire how she brings "affordable and attainable" style to her readers. Well done.
Skinny Hipster
We've never met Nife of Skinny Hipster, but her smile and hair make us think she's probably, like, the coolest. We especially love how she isn't afraid of incorporating bright and bold color into her looks.
District Dress Up
Abbey Brandon clearly knows a thing or two about styling a look. Also, she has the most amazing hair ever. Anyway, when we first happened upon her blog some time ago, we spent at least an hour going all the way back through her archives. And sure, we love the outfits, but we also love how she shoots at many a D.C. monument—the perfect backdrop.
