Tumblr is Going Back to NYFW

In what's quickly becoming a fashion and internet tradition, Tumblr's once again taking the best of their fashion creators and sending them to New York Fashion Week. For the past few seasons, Tumblr's Fashion Evangelist, Valentine Uhovski, has worked tirelessly to pair up these talented bloggers with designers, brands and icons during the shows. We've come to expect skilled photographers and witty commentators from their crop and this year is no exception. The chosen ones, as we like to call them, have shared their excitement and a few of their favorite posts with us.

So without further ado, we present to you the Tumblr Fashion Week Class of Fall 2013:

Thread and Salt

by Dillon Burker, 22

In his own words, Thread and Salt is: Food Photography & Personal Style - "denim, and risotto"

On his past experience: "Coming off an education in Restaurant/Hospitality I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do post college, so I started this blog and took it from there. Since then, I've worked for Ernest Alexander, the NYC based American made menswear company, partnered with a few brands through Thread & Salt and carved a career with the digital creative agency Tarmac Creative."

Why he's excited to attend NYFW with Tumblr: "I've lived vicariously through personal friends & past NYFW tumblr bloggers Jace Lumley & Alex Maier for the past two seasons. I've heard the countless stories of stellar shows, unforgettable after parties and a true week unlike anything I've ever experienced.  I've been verbally urged to "DO EVERYTHING" and thats exactly what I intend on doing. This is truly the chance of a god damn lifetime."
