First, there's the familiar, grungy way to wear high-tops: with denim, plaid, baseball caps, attitude. Kristen Stewart loves both, clearly, so she's one of the first images that pops into my mind whenever I think of the shoe. Her life seems like a constant pivot from the high-top-off-duty look to the high-top-red-carpet one.

Of course, those two paint-by-numbers outfits aren't the only ways that high-tops look awesome—they're actually sneakily versatile for such a distinctive shoe.
