Surprise! We've Found Your New Favorite Boots

I’d be willing to bet that when you hear the name “Timberland”, the first thing that comes to mind are those yellow lace-up work boots. It is for me so, generally speaking, Timberland isn’t exactly the first brand I spring for when shoe shopping. Or at least it wasn’t, until I spotted these babies in the brand’s fall look book.

Here’s why I fell for this pair: these lovely booties are both classic and understated, with a bit of suede detailing to give them just the right amount of character. And they will only get better with time—they’re made with the type of leather that looks its best with some wear, taking on that perfectly worn, rustic look that’s so effortlessly cool.

But we haven’t even gotten to the best part yet. They come from a company that’s famous for its work boots, so even though this particular pair is more for fashion than function, they’re sturdy yet comfy right out of the box (seriously, I’m sitting at my desk wearing them and I don’t want to take them off). As soon as you slip them on, you’ll feel like they’ve been yours forever. And at well under $200, you’ll get more than your money’s worth.
