10 Spring 2014 Trends We Spotted at NYFW


Seemingly inspired by the OshKosh B'Gosh moments of their youth, designers showed several different versions of these double-strapped childhood classics on their runways. Last Thursday night marked (or should we say, Marc'd) the end of New York Fashion Week, and over the eight or so days prior, we saw a number of noteworthy trends emerge. Some designers dove headlong into the '90s with shout-out-loud logos and thoroughly retro overalls, while others embraced the current "ugly shoe" craze with open arms and, um, outstretched socks. But not every trend was so divisive; full-of-movement fringe and easy, breezy athletic-inspired looks were also spotted on many a catwalk.
