Meet The Editors: The Lucky Team Shares Their Guilty Pleasures, Earliest Style Memories And More

What's your theme song? "Bat Out of Hell" by Meatloaf.

What is the oldest item in your closet? My grandfather gave me a vicuna coat that his father-in-law gave him after he married my grandmother. It's very, very old, but in perfect condition, with the original tags and everything. I went so far as to look up the store, Arnold Constable, and it was actually on Canal Street way back in the day. The building is still there, but it's now very fancy apartments or offices. The coat is the sort of thing that I will give to my kids and so on and so forth, one of my only true family heirlooms.

What's the most important style and/or beauty advice you've ever been given? Honestly, I had really horrible skin as a teenager. I saw a dermatologist who steered me away from Accutane, telling it was too aggressive for what I had. We tried a lot of treatments and nothing worked, and some even made me sick. In a twist of fate, that dermatologist died of skin cancer, so I got a new one. She put me on Accutane right away, and my skin has been clear for years. Best decision I ever made.

Finish this sentence: "I can never own enough _____." Navy blue cashmere sweaters. I have so many now that it's almost not fair to the sweaters—they don't all get the proper rotation they deserve. Side note: working here will make you think about things like your sweaters and their feelings.

What's your ultimate guilty pleasure? Chocolate. I will eat a mountain of chocolate. Cake, candy bars, pudding—doesn't matter. I will sit and eat all the chocolate you put in front of me.
