We're all aware of the age-old saying that fashion imitates art, but it's surprisingly rare that we come across a collection—haute couture or otherwise—that strictly sticks to fine art-inspired motifs and designs.

This season, Net-a-Porter is collaborating with the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on an exclusive, limited-edition collection benefiting its Wear LACMA initiative. With the expert design assistance of Los Angeles-based designers The Elder Statesman and Jennifer Meyer, Net-a-Porter and Wear LACMA are debuting this year's line of special pieces, available exclusively at both TheLACMAStore.org and Net-a-porter.COM. And it gets better: a portion of the proceeds will help fund the museum.
