Burberry's Spring 2014 Campaign Features A Lady—Literally, As In An Almost-Royal
Well, this is certainly the most Burberry-esque of all Burberry ads ever.
The ad in question, of course, would be the above campaign shot for the label's Spring/Summer 2014 collection featuring a whole slew of actors, models and musicians, all sporting those oh-so-British buttoned-up good looks. Upon viewing the cluster of pretty faces, we were a bit thrown off considering that last season's campaign featured a rather steamy twosome: Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge. But don't be fooled: this group is pretty impressive, too.
Who do we have here, exactly? Well, actor Jamie Campbell Bower sits front and center, flanked by musician Leo Dobson (second from the right) and a whole slew of models (Malaika Firth, Matilda Lowther and Neelam Johanl) who walked in the brand's Spring/Summer 2014 show in September.
Then, there's Lady Jean Campbell, that platinum, cherubic stunner killing it on the far right. And much to the confusion of us American folk, her real first name isn't actually "Lady"—that's just her title. She's the 16-year-old daughter of the Earl of Cawdor and his well-known fashion wife, Isabella Cawdor, former Vogue UK editor. While Lady Jean's modeling debut appeared in Vogue UK's October issue, consider this her breakout fashion moment—with that face and those bloodlines, we suspect she's here to stay.
