As if we could possibly love Karlie Kloss any more, we got to spend an hour of our afternoon yesterday witnessing the 21-year-old supermodel gabbing candidly with our own editor-in-chief, Eva Chen. Just ask anyone in the office, and they'll confess we simply haven't been able to stop talking about the fête for nearly 24 hours—and that's more than okay.

The gathering in question was a Q&A with Kloss and Chen, hosted by Coach (Kloss is the face of the brand) in addition to Lucky and shared via livestream. The chat, moderated by beauty vlogger Lo Bosworth, covered wide-ranging territory that included topics like style, the holidays, travel, social media and much more.

Kloss and Chen have known each other for more than six years, as evidenced by their very friendly chemistry: in fact, it was Chen who taught Kloss how to tweet while backstage at a Jason Wu show many years ago. While the crowd spent much of the hour salivating over Karlie's description of her delicious (and philanthropic!) Kookies, we also learned that both Kloss and Chen share a palpabale affinity for winter whites, It's a Wonderful Life and a classic leather handbag. I also spent a few minutes catching up with Karlie and chatting about sweater weather and her secret to crafting a well-packed suitcase. Read on!

Lucky: You spend most of your days traveling the globe. Do you have a tried-and-true system for packing smartly?

Karlie Kloss: I always carry my tennis shoes, which I stuff socks and underwear into—I feel like that was something my mom taught me when I went to camp back in the day. I always travel really lightly. I bring a carry-on, just because I never have time to wait for a checked bag and I've had bad experiences with things getting lost. I only bring the essentials—I probably rewear my outfits more than Eva would!

If you're bringing one sweater for a trip, what kind of sweater would it be?

I love a neutral-colored sweater, like a beautiful gray cashmere. I love a crewneck or a turtleneck. Sweater weather is my favorite time of the year—it's delicious, it really is.
