Prada's Spring 2014 Campaign Features A Gaggle Of Brightly-Dressed Models

Digital Fashion News Writer

As soon as Prada's Spring 2014 collection debuted at Milan Fashion Week in September, the fashion set gawked at the label's artistic, sporty use of color. From the Teva-Birkenstocks hybrid (comfort is back in style, people!) to a myriad of rich hues, we had high hopes for what turned out to be one of Spring 2014's most highly acclaimed collections.

Steven Meisel shot the fashion house's new campaign and, appropriately, let the colorful clothes do most of the work. But among a tribe of doe-eyed models and slicked, deep side-parts is a new face that caught our eye. French model Cindy Bruna, who sits front-and-center in the shot, is the second woman of color Prada has cast in a campaign in two consecutive seasons. Fall 2013's 18-year-old Malaika Firth was the first black model in a Prada ad since—get this—Naomi Campbell in 1998. Looks like someone is trying to change their ways.

Bruna made a gorgeous appearance in this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, and we suspect that 2014 is going to bring great, great things to the 18-year-old Parisian!
