Anne Hathaway Calls It Quits With Her Longtime Stylist Rachel Zoe
It's not you, it's me. We've grown apart. I think it's time we start seeing other people.
This, of course, is the breakup dialogue we imagine transpired between Anne Hathaway and her longtime stylist-turned-designer Rachel Zoe following their recent, shocking separation. While we're not exactly sure what the reasoning is behind the split, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Anne has recently been using a new stylist, Penny Lovell. Penny—the woman behind the stylings of Rose Byrne, Taylor Schilling, Bella Heathcote and Mary Elizabeth Winstead—has reportedly been pulling pieces for Anne as the actress begins promoting her new indie flick, Song One.
Despite the mysterious backstory (if there even is one), we can't imagine Ms. Zoe being too heartbroken over the severance. After all, she does have an extensive roster of A-list red carpet staples to dress, including Jennifer Lawrence, Sofia Vergara, Jennifer Garner and Isla Fisher. Plus, you know, she's Rachel Zoe—we have a feeling there's not much that seriously gets to her.
According to THR, "Lovell is best known for having a knack for taking smart risks," a trait we hope influences Anne's Oscars ensemble (she will be a presenter this year). We have but one request for Penny: no ill-placed darts, please.
