Jennifer Lawrence Is Probably Going To Be Wearing Dior Until The End Of 2017
Well, identifying Jennifer Lawrence's red carpet gowns is probably going to be an easy task for the next three years. America's sweetheart, photobomber extraordinaire and award-winning actress (oh, yeah, that) JLaw is reportedly set to sign a multimillion dollar deal with Dior for a three-year partnership, which Page Six exclusively revealed today.
Well, what does a "multimillion dollar deal" look like between one of Hollywood's biggest stars and a renowned Paris fashion house? We're talking between $15 and $20 million, all for continuing Jennifer's red carpet Dior parade—and a Miss Dior campaign to boot. Pretty sweet, if you ask us.
The actress first began repping the label after starring in the first of four Hunger Games films in 2012; we've since seen her wear Dior on almost every major red carpet since then, including at the Golden Globes, the SAGs and the Holy Grail that is the Academy Awards. As Raf Simons explained at the time: "I was...struck by her incredible on-screen presence in these blockbuster films, but also...by her powerful interpretations of subtler, more rounded characters."
While neither camp has officially confirmed nor denied the deal, a "Hollywood source" (oh, Page Six!) has spoken out, saying: "There's no signed deal, but Jennifer's had a great relationship with Dior to date, and is open to the idea of continuing a partnership. But there's no deal in place."
As fishy as these rumors may seem now, they're often based in truth—so we're pretty confident that this lovely JLaw-Dior partnership will continue (at least) until 2017.
