Rihanna is in a very slim minority of celebrities who are able to stroll down a red carpet or into a front row wearing—quite literally—anything, and yet always look completely amazing. It's her slightly brazen confidence that does it, though it certainly doesn't hurt that fashion's top designers literally flock to her with couture galore. Lest we remind you of her most recent holiday gift extravaganza?

Appropriately, the CFDA will be fêting her sartorial prowess by naming her its 2014 Fashion Icon at the CFDA Fashion Awards on June 2. "We are proud to present Rihanna with the CFDA Fashion Icon Award for her impact on the industry as fashion's most exciting ambassador in recent memory," Steven Kolb, the chief executive officer of the CFDA, said in a statement on Monday.

While there's no question that RiRi fits right in with the honor's previous winners, which have included Lady Gaga, Iman, Kate Moss and Nicole Kidman (among others), we're only left wondering what the 26-year-old songstress will wear to the awards. Just a little more than two months of speculation to go!
