Katie Holmes Quits Her Designer Label, Holmes & Yang

Between being photographed at Whole Foods and raising the most stylish celebrity spawn (and to be fair, working on a number of other legitimate projects, too), Katie Holmes certainly keeps herself busy. But according to the New York Post, she's ending one of her most significant involvements: her five-year partnership with fashion label Holmes & Yang, which she co-founded with stylist Jeanne Yang.

While we're not yet aware of the reasons behind the split, a "source" has said it ended due to an "interpersonal conflict." As he or she said on Saturday: "Jeanne enjoys the spotlight way more than Katie does. Things have definitely soured between them."

With four acting gigs (including The Giver, opposite Meryl Streep) on the docket for 2014, perhaps Katie was simply making way for a buzzworthy Hollywood comeback after an eight-year hiatus. Will 2014 be the year of the Holmes-aissance? Only time will tell...
