Cara Delevingne Just Booked A Huge New Movie Gig
As a public figure who has made a name—and a face—for herself thanks to her goofy, at times childlike antics, Cara Delevingne just landed a new job that couldn't be more perfect for her personality. The 21-year-old supermodel (and, yes, actress) has signed on for a small part in Joe Wright's 2015 film adaption of Peter Pan, tentatively titled Pan.
According to Deadline, Delevingne is in talks to appear in Neverland alongside Amanda Seyfriend as Mary, Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily, Hugh Jackman as Blackbeard and Garrett Hedlund as Captain Hook, though her exact role is yet to be revealed. Regardless, the casting decision isn't a complete surprise given that Delevingne's debut film role was in Wright's 2011 remake of Anna Karenina.
From the looks of Pan's IMDB page, the elusive role of Tinkerbell hasn't yet been cast. Hmm. This, of course, is nothing but speculation, but could Delevingne be up for the role of the brassy, seductive sprite? It's not a complete stretch...
