Kate Middleton Gives a Nod To New Zealand in Custom Jenny Packham Gown
The Royal Family's Australian hosts are certainly keeping the trio busy during their three-week tour Down Under. Kate Middleton has succeeded in important diplomatic affairs, sure—but from a Queen-approved crimson combination to a playdate-appropriate Tory Burch number, its her prim and ladylike ensembles that keep grabbing our attention.
For her third official engagement in New Zealand, the Duchess stepped out in a powder blue coat from one of her favorite labels (her Sarah Burton-designed wedding dress included), Alexander McQueen. The belted waist, clean collar and navy accessories gave the official outfit a fancy, feminine touch.
And on Wednesday evening, she once again gave a subtle salute to New Zealand at a State Dinner wearing a custom black gown by Jenny Packham (see below); the somewhat slinky black dress features a silver fern detail—New Zealand's national symbol—on her left shoulder. So, not only are the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge perhaps the most gracious of guests, but they're the most well-outfitted, too.
