We all know how a perfectly well-lit Instagram selfie can get you likes, but a modeling contract? That's just the plan for Marc by Marc Jacobs, who announced on Twitter yesterday that the brand is casting their next ad campaign via social media. The rules are simple: all you do is snap a selfie and post it to either Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #CastMeMarc. After the folks at MBMJ sift through the plethora of entries, the winner will become the new fresh face of the Fall/Winter 2014 ad campaign. And there are sure to be a great deal of entries: there are already close to 6,000 mentions of #CastMeMarc on Instagram today alone. Well, we think this is certainly good news for any model hopefuls who can't exactly get signed to an elite model agency.
