When Prep Meets Normcore: Trademark's Fall 2014 Lookbook Is Here
If there's one fresh new fashion brand that we simply can't get enough of, it's Trademark, the understated womenswear line from the daughters of retail legend Chris Burch. Alexandra ("Pookie") and Louisa ("Weezie") Burch first began touting their then-unnamed label in a highly buzzed-about New York magazine profile in 2011, but the Spring 2014 season served as the first official market in which Trademark's items were available for retail. Ever since, their arrival on the New York City fashion scene has gone quite smoothly—and this includes the opening on its enormous flagship store on Soho's swanky Grand Street.
And, okay, the temperatures may have just started warming up significantly, but this news is just too good to ignore: Trademark's Fall 2014 lookbook has arrived. In a classic, sophisticated assortment of sweaters, blouses, dresses, trousers, skirts, coats, belts, handbags and knit accessories, this upcoming collection promises a healthy continuation of the slightly "normcore"-esque goods that put Trademark on the map.
