Come September, womenswear designer Giambattista Valli will be making a triumphant return to his home country of Italy during Milan Fashion Week—but it's not for his self-named main line. The Rome-born designer is launching a new ready-to-wear label called Giamba, named after his nickname given to him by his closest friends. According to British Vogue, Giamba will serve as an entirely new label, separate from Giambattista Valli Paris.

"There is an underground and sexy side in me and in my designs that you will see in the Giamba line," Valli said of the venture. "I've been thinking about it for a while and waited for the right time, and now it's matured. I am really very happy. I feel the need to dress women in general, and Giamba is a little more intimate."

Well, this certainly sounds exciting. Stay tuned for the big, undoubtedly sexy reveal!
