As one of the most iconic (read: best-selling) fragrances on the planet, it's only natural for Chanel No.5 to be represented by equally iconic public figures. Until 2012, its cast of campaign faces had only included women—Nicole Kidman and Marilyn Monroe among them—until Brad Pitt came along and ramblingly shattered the gender mold. The perfume is extremely alluring, aspirational and glamorous—all qualities its spokespeople must embody.

Next up to represent the scent, as Women's Wear Daily reports, is Gisele Bündchen. The 33-year-old Brazilian supermodel should give the scent a more contemporary and youthful take, all in line with her spiritual Mommy & Me lifestyle. Bündchen was chosen for her "natural beauty and modern femininity," according to the company, and her new No.5 campaigns will be oh-so-dreamily shot by Baz Luhrmann (just like Kidman's).

In sum: Chanel wants you to know its a hip, fashionable company, but still one you should associate with fancy rich ladies.
